Day:1 Pick from Srinagar, Check In Deluxe Houseboat in the evening shikhara ride and local sightseeing.  Mughal Gardens: – Visit Shankaracharya Temple, PariMahal (Palace of Fairies), Botanical garden, ChesmaShahi (Mughal Spring), Nishat (The Garden of Bliss), Shalimar (The Abode of Love).World Famous Dal lake take a walk on the Boule,  overnight stay in a houseboat at Srinagar.

Day 2:.Breakfast at the Houseboat, Check-out from Houseboat and proceed to Gulmarg ‘The Meadow of Flowers’. The road passes through an expanse of rice field and delightful rural villages. The colors change with the season sometimes-fiery red with famed Kashmiri chilly or russet gold when the leaves turn in the cool air of autumn. The views are wonderful and the air clear and fresh. A lush green valley, favored for its scenic beauty by Film crews. Surrounded by snow-capped mountains the air is clear and fresh. In summer play golf, pony trek or ride the exciting Gondola to the high slopes. In winter, as India’s premier ski resort, Gulmarg is at an altitude of 8,500 ft and 51km west of Srinagar. It rests in a small valley with a backdrop of the lofty Pir Panjal range of the Himalaya Mountains.  As the area is under snow for 6 months of the year it is popular as a skiing area.  It also has one of the best natural golf courses in the world.  Pony trekking is available, as are plenty of walks for bird watchers in the meadows of alpine flowers, overnight in a hotel at Gulmarg.

Day 3: After Breakfast Proceed for worlds Highest cable car ride, Built by the French company Pomagalski, the Gulmarg Gondola is one of the highest in the world reaching 3,979 meters.[29] The two-stage ropeway ferries about 600 people per hour to and from Gulmarg to a shoulder of nearby Mt. Apharwat Summit (4,200 m (13,780 ft)). The first stage transfers from Gulmarg at 2,600 m (8,530 ft) to Kongdoori at 3,080 m. The second stage which has 36 cabins and 18 towers, takes passengers to a height of 3,950 m (12,959 ft) on the Apharwat Peak (4,200 m (13,780 ft)). A chair lift system connects Kongdoori with Mary’s shoulder for taking skiers to a higher altitude. The high inflow of tourists has had an effect on the fragile eco-system of Gulmarg and activists have demanded tightened regulation to save the environment of the area from over tourism, enjoy the ride of  (Phase 1)  Gulmarg to Kungdoor and   (Phase 2  Kungdoor to Aparwath, after ride, Proceed to Hotel, overnight in hotel at Gulmarg.

 

Day 4: Gulmarg to Srinagar via en route sight seen overnight stay in the hotel at Srinagar.

Day 5: Srinagar to Pahalgam via en route sight seen visit Awantipora Ruins, Saffron Fields. In Pahalgam you can visit: –  Betaab Valley is a beautiful valley with a brook which flows in the middle of the valley, it got its name from the Indian Film ‘Beetab’ which was shot there. A local taxi has to be hired for Aru and Beetab Valley ( on your own Expenses). Over night stay in hotel at Srinagar

Day 6: Srinagar to Sonamarg for a Daytrip. Enroute see Hazratbal Shrine, Gagangir Tourist Village. The drive from Srinagar to Sonamarg is very beautiful as you will pass through some towns and villages, at many places you can enjoy the view of paddy fields with rivers flowing on one side. In Sonamarg you can visit Thajwas Glacier which is around 4 km’s from Sonamarg; a local taxi has to be hired for it ( on your own Expenses). The name Sonamarg is derived from two Kashmiri words “Son” & “Marg” which means “Gold” & “Meadow”, when put together it means “Meadow of Gold”. Return to Srinagar in the evening after enjoying your day. Overnight stay in hotel at Srinagar
