Srinagar-Sonamarg-Nichnai-Vishansar-Kishansar-Gadsar-Ganbal-Nundkol-Naranag-Srinagar

Day 1: Srinagar: On arrival to Srinagar meet our representative at Srinagar Airport Night stay Houseboat / Hotel. Day free for personal activities.

Day 2: Srinagar to Sonmarg to Nichnai (3200 Mtrs): After breakfast proceed towards Sonamarg by car (2 Hours), After reaching Shutkari Bridge i.e 3 Kms before Sonmarg proceed for the trek to Soukdari (2-3 Hrs trek). After having Lunch at Shoukdari proceed to Nichnai by foot (1-2 hrs Trek). Night stay in Nichnai.

Day 3: Nichnai to Vishansar Lake (4460 Mtrs): Leave early for the day trek to Vishansar Lake (4 – 5hrs Trek). The lake is a famous trekking spot, with a one-day climb from the base camp in Nichnai; it’s a high altitude meadow from the month of June to August. Famed for its natural beauty, you can experience enchanting valleys, limpid lakes, cascading rivers and a wide variety of animals and plants. On the way, you will cross 1 glaciers. After crossing Nichnai Pass the trek involves a steep decend and then a meadow walk towards the Lake. Overnight stay in Vishansar Lake.

Day 4: Vishansar Lake to Kishansar Lake (4750 Mtrs): Wake up to the beautiful morning in Vishansar surrounded by the beautiful mountains. Explore the places around Vishansar and take a small trek to Kishansar Lake (15Mins). This beautiful lake has a tall mountain in its background. Rest of the day free for Angling (Brown Trout & Rainbow Trout). Night stay Vishansar.

Day 5: Vishansar to Gadsar (3600 Mtrs): Early Morning after breakfast proceed towards Gadsar lake. Gadsar lake known as the lake of flowers through Krishansar Lake and steep ascend the Gadsar pass (4080 meters) and descend to Gadsar. The Gadsar Lake is also named as Yemsar which means the lake of a demon.The shepherds grazing their folks in the outskirts of Gadsar lake during summers believe that there lives a Lake Monster, a freshwater Octopus which drags the creatures from shores by its tentacles into the water. There is an uncertainty in the minds of visitors, a kind of threat which prevents them going near the shores. The fishes are being caught outside the lake in a stream from which it flows out. Overnight in Gadsar.

Day 6: Gadsar to Nundkol to Gangbal Lake (3570 Mtrs): Leaving Gadsar and easy ascending up to Poshpatri (The valley of flowers) than a gradual walking up to Megandub, Dupta pani where a stream disappears and through the seven lakes of Satsar all set in cascade form connected to one another. From here steep ascend to Zagibal pass (4180 mtrs) and cross a glacier on the top. This is the highest pass of our trek, all your tiredness will vanish when reaching the top when you see Mount Haramukh just standing in your face and at its footsteps the twin beautiful lakes of Gangabal and Nundkol. Overnight in Gangbal.

Day 7: Gangbal Lake (3570 Mtrs) & Nundkol Lake: Today is a well-deserved rest day. You can enjoy a pretty walk around the lake, rainbow trout fishing or, if you have a little more energy, head up to Lul Gul pass for a breathtaking view of Nangapabath. Night Stay Gangbal.

Day 8: Gagbal to Naranag to Srinagar: After a leisurely breakfast our trail leads us past the two small villages of Nunkol and Trunkol, followed by a steep descent through a beautiful dense pine forest from Trundkul to Naranag. Here we visit an old monastery ruins. This will be our finishing point of the Lake Trek.We will be transferred by a chartered coach/car to a houseboat for our overnight stay.

Day 9: Departure: After breakfast, you will be transferred to Srinagar Airport for onwards journey.
